Your floor plan stays private.

What we collect

FloorPlanCheck processes floor plan images, PDFs, RoomPlan scans, user-confirmed geometry, room labels, openings, objects, report outputs, share assets, support messages, and email requests when you provide them. The app also stores local project state, imported files, exports, and purchase entitlement state, including app-generated account and device identifiers needed to deliver the product.

How floor plans are used

Your uploaded images and confirmed plan data are used to generate layout reviews, issue maps, reports, share assets, customer support, security, and service reliability. We do not publish your floor plan without your permission.

Cloud processing

When cloud plan understanding is enabled, floor plan evidence and optional image data may be sent to FloorPlanCheck cloud services and AI providers through Cloudflare AI Gateway to create draft geometry and review evidence. Plan-understanding jobs are stored temporarily and are designed to expire after about 30 minutes. If cloud processing is unavailable, the app can continue with local plan conversion so you can review and correct the draft.

App security

FloorPlanCheck uses Apple App Attest to help verify that requests come from the app and to prevent abuse. This can store device authentication identifiers, challenge records, short-lived bearer sessions, and App Attest credential records needed for service security.

Deletion and sharing

You can delete saved projects in the app, including local draft data, reports, videos, and imported files for that project. Shared reports and videos are designed to hide addresses, project names, and precise dimensions unless you choose otherwise. Cloud-backed report share links may retain the shared report payload for up to 30 days unless deleted earlier. Contact support for help deleting cloud-backed share links or support attachments.

Retention

We keep floor plan data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain purchases and reports, respond to support requests, protect the service, or meet legal requirements. Local projects remain on your device until you delete them. Cloud processing jobs are short-lived, report share links are time-limited, and support messages are kept as needed to answer the request. You can request deletion by contacting support.

Tracking and analytics

FloorPlanCheck does not use advertising tracking, sell user data, or include third-party advertising SDKs in the current app. Bathroom and layout analytics used in the app are local product events and debug logs, not a third-party analytics upload. Cloud infrastructure may retain service logs or request diagnostics for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Purchases

App Store purchases are processed by Apple. FloorPlanCheck receives purchase entitlement information needed to unlock reports or Pro features, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal or refund status, a StoreKit app account token, and an app-generated device identifier for secure Pro subscription sync. You can use the app anonymously. If you choose Sign in with Apple for cross-device Pro subscription sync, FloorPlanCheck verifies the Apple identity token and stores the Apple user identifier as a server-side hash. Consumable credits remain an in-app balance and are not treated as a server-restorable cross-device balance. FloorPlanCheck does not receive your full payment card details.
